For the past five months, all of the TYs have been working on Junk Kouture. The idea of junk kouture is to create something fashionable, using only recycled materials. There were do many good ideas from all of the groups that everyone had a lot of tough competition. For our outfit, we used recycled Cd's, cassette tapes, manuscript , earphones and wires. Its taken a lot of time and effort to make the outfit. Every group modeled their outfit in our school fashion show, and to my surprise, our group came second out of our class. Everyone has now entered their outfits into the junk kouture competition and on the 16th of February, we will find out if we have qualified. Overall It was a great experience and I really learned a lot. Its the kind of thing that needs a lot of Patience but if you keep working the results are great!
