First day back after our midterm break and we are already into a workshop! A guy called Dave came in to do a drumming workshop with us! I had heard of the workshop from past years and I had really been looking forward to it. We went to the library in the morning and met up with dave. He brought us outside and we helped him carry all of the drums in from his van. Throughout the day we used a load of different types of drums. The main one was called the jembe. We also used the kpanlogo, marakas, shekere, and the agogo bells.
